Sunny, a friend of the Chengs, brought a large Asian pear (the size of a small canteloupe). It had a granny smith apple texture but was sweet like a pear.
I also had a bubble tea (tea is pronounced cha in Chinese). {Here it is! Don't make fun of the hair please.:}
We climbed to the 69th floor of Taipei 101 and saw the city. The city is surrounded by mountains covered in thick lush vegetation. {The city is sandwiched between several mountains, so there are no suburbs really. The city abruptly stops at the feet of the mountains. It's really beautiful because despite it being a modern city, nature still overcomes it as evidence by vines and flowers growing out of gutters. Here's the view of and from the building:}
We went to some high end shopping malls {at the base of Taipei 101} and saw some posters of Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End.
We're now back at the house. Tonight we will go to the night market.
